In the landscape of the delta we find totally flat lands that give it a peculiar and unique aspect in Catalonia. In the interior we find the extensive rice fields, changing according to the seasons (earthy in winter, flooded with water in spring, green in summer). On the coast we find one of the most attractive lake landscapes of the Mediterranean, large ponds bordered by canyissars and Jonqueres. On the outskirts, saline soles with cirialeres, marine rushes and faces the long and deserted sandy beaches, with dunes and other samples of vegetation, well adapted in the middle.
